A prominent Saudi lawyer has made a stunning call for the deportation of world-renowned footballer Cristiano Ronaldo after he allegedly made a lewd gesture towards fans. Ronaldo, who was playing for Al-Nassr against Al-Hilal on Tuesday night, was seen grabbing his crotch in response to fans chanting the name of his rival Lionel Messi.
The incident has prompted lawyer Nouf bin Ahmed to take action, citing the gesture as a “crime of public indecency” and calling for Ronaldo to be held accountable for his actions. Ahmed has pledged to file a formal complaint with the Saudi Prosecutor’s Office and is seeking severe punishment for the Portuguese player.
In Saudi Arabia, such a crime is considered a serious offense, and if committed by a foreigner, it could result in arrest and deportation.
