Jurrien Timber, a defender for Ajax, has stated that he may be moving away from the Dutch club soon, with Manchester United showing interest in him.
United had previously attempted to acquire Timber last year, but Ajax convinced him to stay for another season.
Nonetheless, United remains keen on the 21-year-old, with representatives reportedly watching him play in Ajax’s match against PSV Eindhoven. Timber admitted that there is significant interest in him, and he has agreements with Ajax, but he will review the situation after this season.
Timber, who is still focused on Ajax’s remaining games, is regarded as one of United’s top defensive targets for the summer transfer window, with Axel Disasi of Monaco and Benjamin Pavard of Bayern Munich among others they have considered.
