Manchester United and Chelsea Eye Lille Striker, Bayern Munich Targets Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins, and More

According to reports, Manchester United and Chelsea are both interested in signing Jonathan David, the striker from Lille who is expected to leave Ligue 1 during the upcoming summer transfer window.

While United is said to be targeting Harry Kane as their top priority signing for a new number nine, Bayern Munich is considering a surprise move for Aston Villa’s in-form striker Ollie Watkins.

Manchester City and Newcastle are no longer interested in Chelsea’s midfielder Mason Mount, who is currently negotiating a new contract with the club. Barcelona may offer Juventus outcast Denis Zakaria, currently on loan at Chelsea, in a swap deal package involving Franck Kessie.

Manchester United plans to activate a clause in Victor Lindelof’s contract, which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2024/25 season. Liverpool is in talks with Sporting CP over Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte, who is also of interest to Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Leeds. Real Madrid and Barcelona may both submit offers for Celta Vigo wonderkid Hugo Sotelo, who could fetch upwards of €20m.

Manchester City full-back Kyle Walker has no interest in leaving the club this summer, despite limited playing time. Tottenham and AC Milan are both interested in signing Allan Saint-Maximin from Newcastle, while Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is keen on securing a permanent transfer away from Old Trafford for regular first-team football.
